House Subcommittee Advances FY22 DOT Spending Bill
The House Transportation-HUD Appropriations Subcommittee today approved the Fiscal Year 2022 Transportation-HUD Appropriations bill by voice vote. You can view the markup here.
As a reminder, the bill would provide full funding for the Airport Improvement Program (AIP) at $3.35 billion, and appropriate an extra $400 million in general-fund revenue for additional AIP discretionary grants available to all size airports, including nearly $80 million in earmarks for a Community Project Funding program. The bill now moves to the full committee for markup Friday, July 16 at 9:00am EDT.
